Natalia Fedorova

Graduate of the Moscow State Institute of Culture (BA in Directing) and the Vakhtangov Theatre Institute (MFA in Stage Movement), where she has studied under Dr. Andrey Droznin, an internationally acclaimed movement coach and director. After graduating, she began teaching stage movement and jazz-dance to the acting students at the Moscow Art Theatre School, where she stayed until moving to the UK in 2009.  Currently Natalia teaches pure movement at the Rose Bruford College, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and the Kogan Academy of Dramatic Arts. Ms. Fedorova has taught stage movement at the ART/MXAT Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard, Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, Fordham University summer program (New York City), and conducted movement workshops at The Actor’s Studio (NYC), Princeton University, and East 15 (London). Natalia closely collaborates with Routledge Publishing House as a reader, translator and contributor to the Routledge Performance Archive. In 2011 Routledge released her translation of Andrey Droznin’s book, Physical Actor Training and a DVD of the same name featuring her teaching the Droznin Method to British students.
